Ukraine Pushes Unity as U.S. and Russia Tangle Over Its Fate

President Biden and President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia both said that they would seek a diplomatic path to avert an invasion of Ukraine. But Mr. Biden said Russia still had 150,000 troops menacing Ukraine and an invasion was a “distinct possibility.”
