I have a topic I’d like to write about. However, I’m getting lost In the weeds and failing to structure my content in an easy to consume way. What are some great resources to learn writing blog posts / articles? I’m actually open to pay for a professional coach but not sure how to find a good one. Suggestions are welcome!

Recently a bookstore near me that used to carry lots of interesting periodicals (including my favorite 2600) stopped all of them. So I have decided to subscribe directly. What are some of your favorite magazines/journals (tech and non-tech) that you love and wish would last for a long time to come.

Reddit removed my permissions from my own legal, non-abusive community

My partner and I started a community on reddit more than 10 years ago. Nothing illegal or untoward, it's about a city. We had to add other mods over time to keep up with the volume. Some have been helpful and respectful, and others have just given me nothing but abuse and criticism. Perhaps it was a mistake to keep them on, but they were good at their work otherwise. Well, after a snafu (my fault, admittedly) reddit has now taken away my permissions as mod, effectively removing me from my own community that I started. What was my mistake? I didn't post something illegal, nor anything abusive. I merely removed other mods, temporarily, and added an auto-moderator rule which warned users when their posts were reported. This was reported to the admins through ZenDesk, and suddenly I'm caught in the middle of a "power struggle", I guess, to gain control of this subreddit. Just a note to anyone wanting to start a community on this platform, you can spend years growing it (to 250K+ at this point) and then one day it can just be taken away from you with no recourse. We are now waiting on a "decision" from the admin team, and I don't know what to expect as the outcome, but it seems even if you are not breaking any of the rules, and one day your community can be just taken away from you.

This chart[1] from anandtech.com plots the impressive performance trajectory of Apple silicon over several years. Of course, no technology is guaranteed to continue improving forever. The sustained performance gains reflect Apple's tremendous dedication and investment in the endeavor. After the A11 chip, though, it became clear there was a non-zero probability that Apple could one day meet or surpass Intel. Which begs the question: what underestimated technologies exist today that could overtake incumbent technologies within 5 years? Put another way: what technologies are in the A11 stage and not yet widely recognized for its potential? [1] https://ift.tt/38Wwir1
